i just wanted to wish everyone a great xmas and i hope the new year brings you all everything you need. A specail thanks to all my coaches, also tash, gurt, nigel and everyone that helps keep the gym going. i appreciate you all. keep smilin,. paddy fitz

xmas hours - 20/12/2010

 peace guys. we'll be closing this wed the 22nd at 7pm. we will then open the following wed between 12-4pm for anyone that wants to work off some of the xmas turkey. The gym will then re-open on the 4th of january ready for another good year here at FITZPATRICKS BOXING GYM. merry xmas and i hope you all have a great new year. thanks for all your support. keep smilin, paddy fitz

 Im asking everyone that can find 2 minutes in their day to call 01793 513626 ( bbc wiltshire) and ask for ''ELVIS'' by still wailin. The more people that call in the more people that will hear it and donate £1 for the N.S.P.C.C. I know alot of you guys called already and got told that they can't play it yet. The good news is they played it this morning ans so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. please call in and support the anti bullying campaign. keep smilin, paddy fitz

Over this festive season when your having fun spending time with family and loved ones thier are kids out there who are unhappy and have nothing. They need someone to talk to who can help them. Thats what the N.S.P.C.C do but they can only do it with our help and donations.

C.K Maisey makes his debut - 12/12/2010

C.K Carl Maisey made his long awaited debut in the amateurs last night in Hereford, On Wye Valley ABC’s Christmas dinner show at the 4 point centre. C.K was up against Daniel Baker from Wye Valley ABC. The first round couldn’t have gone any worse for C.K. His opponent came out strong and caught C.K with flurries of combinations, C.K hit the canvas when he tripped trying to get away from the strong attacks of his opponent and then later in the round received a standing eight count from the ref. He came back to the corner a round down and frustrated, His corner told him to forget that round go out and back his opponent up behind the double jab. C.K done exactly that and turned the fight around backing his opponent up and scoring well winning the round. So it was a round a piece going into the third and being against the host clubs fighter who had the crowd on his side. C.K needed to dominate the last. He was told to go out and be busy and continue to back his fighter up if he was going to win the fight. He did just that showing all his skills, landing combinations straight shots uppercuts and hooks alternating from head to body a great display of boxing to win the round. The judges all agreed and gave C.K his first win of his amateur career by a unanimous point’s decision. After such a bad start it shows what a good student and coach C.K is to turn it round and win the fight. He listened to his corner and made the right adjustments to get the decision.Well done C.K
