1976 Triumph Bonneville Chop - 21/09/2010
This scammed out chopper was built by father and son, Glenn Dance and Gary Dance. The whole project took around two years to complete which included a 1 year engine rebuild to the almost retired engine. The rolling chassis is completed by a fenland choppers 33 degrees raked frame, a set of DNA 2” under Springer forks, 16” Harley rear wheel and a 21” Harley wheel up front. There are many totally one off parts on the chop such as the, handlebar risers, handlebars, oil tank, foot pedals, leather seat, rear fender, sissy bar and much more all hand made. The chop has just had a successful front cover, centre spread feature in International custom bike magazine Back Street Heroes.

sell out success - 20/09/2010
Thanks to everyone that came to our show on saturday, your support was fantastic. The night was another cracker with seven very evenly matched bouts, as was displayed by 2 draws and two others being decided in the last round. Boxer of the night had to be Toney marchetti, who not only boxed twice but also played lead guitar later on during the jamming session. Tony won his first bout V Ian Campbell and also boxed an exhibition with ray ray rubenstein (who then played sax with the band). Sean purcell showed a little bit of everything in his bout with Tom Waddel (who was having his first fight) in their 3 x 2's. Sean was in control of most of the exchanges but it was the last round where he realy seperated himself letting rip with combinations and lead right hands. Tom showed good composure throughout and kept himself in itby boxing well early, but in the last he got too agressive and sean was able to get his shots off and spin to avoid toms straight forward attacks.
Sam Quartely enetered the ring to a huge crowd oh his fans shouting and screaming for him. It seemed to help if anything in this his first exhibition against (also debuting) Tad Czjkowski. They got the crowd banging on the ring apron while both boxers took little time to rest, working throughout this 3 x 2's.
Crowd favorite, Pete Ward, was a little unlucky to walk away with the draw in his bout v Mr Brooks. It was lively throughtout with the crowd going crazy whenever they exchanged ( which was most of their fight). I had Pete winning it with his busier jab. I could see that Mr brooks new what he was up, to but he just waited a little bit for the perfect shot sometimes while Pete would take what he was gievn. The crowd showed them great appreciation at the end of it.
Simon Porte was lying ill in bed on Friday and showed up in the gym on saturday morning telling me he was ready to go for it. He won his bout v gulliver Bristo by boxing well and using his jab. Simon can be too tight early on, getting hin into a fight too soon (like in his last bout V Pete Ward, here a couple of months ago). But tonight he did everything right, Gulliver was probably the stronger out of the too, but Simon constantly used good footwork, not allowing him long enough to get his shots off enough. A true fighter, simon finished his bout shook hands with gulliver and hopped in a car to drive to cornwall for his holidays.
Last but by no means least, was ''irish'' Mark gordon v Miky D Doran. This was a cracker with mike winning by way of his cleaner work. Theses two are mirror images of each other, which showed by the scoring. Mr Webb, scoring the bout had to wait untill the last round to give to Mike for his busier work.
I want to take this time to thank all the guys involved in the show, i hope you all enjoyed it, by all the feed back we've had so far you did. The Debuts were great. 3 guys, 14 years old, and they wright al their own music. ''Slim'' Flynn, was cool enough to jump up and do a few numbers, he was wicked, and also Dane McMurtry's wifey, sorry, im terrible with names, but thanks for adding in some jazz flavor.
Our next show will be our xmas one, Nov 20th. Keep checking in to our web site for updates and gym news.
Keep Smilin, Paddy
