Day of reckoning soon here - 27/05/2010

 Mille bailey goes into her semi final of the womens A.B.A. championships knowing shes up against it. the girl she faces for a place in the finals has already beat her only 5 weeks ago and will be confident of doing the same come saturday. Millie's being working hard though, and is confident of turning things around and not only clearing up her first loss but also being one fight away from winning the A.B.A. title in her first season.  Were having a jumble sale at the boxing academy on friday. just pop in and have a rummage through. we have brand new head gears, gloves, and protectors, from £20 up. Loads of bargains. see you friday, peace

Show cancelled at the last minute - 24/05/2010

 Saturday nights fight night VIII, at the boxing academy, swindon had the plug pulled at 3.30pm on the day of the show due to A.B.A. officals not being able to make it. Heas coach Darren Woodwards recieved a call at noon on the day from the board telling him that due to illness and so mant championships going on that they though they will struggle to make it. they then called back at 3.30pm to confirm. We appolagise to everyone involved in the show. the guys who were due to box, the other clubs that were due to make the trips up here, and of course all of you guys that had bought tickets to come and support us. we appreciate you and sorry again. The A.B.A. said they have never had to do that before, it's just a shame we were the first. Luke Watkins, and Joe Beeden will box this coming friday night away from home, and Millie Bailley will box sat in the A.B.A. semi finals. C.J. looking to make his mark - 20/05/2010

 11year old C.J. Singh makes his amatuer debut saturday night at the boxing academy in swindon. he's been training at the academy for over a year now and is looking forward to showing what he can do come fight night. He counts Jamie Cox as one of his supporters. Jamie often comes to watch the guys train and sparrs with some of the guys to help out. Nothing seems to faze this kid, even when he's going through something, he hides it so good you have to be paying great attention to spot something is wrong while he's boxing. tickets for the show are available from the boxing academy for £10. sorry but due to us being a small venue there will be no entry on the night without a ticket and no tickets will be sold on the door. keep up to date with whats going on at the gym and with our boxers on fitzpatricksboxinggym.com

 the guys had some of thier last sparring before the show at the weekend and all of them looked good and ready. tickets are going fast and theres only  a limited number due to our small venue. There is no entry on the night without tickets, you can buy them from the academy or one of the boxers for £10. Boxers from the academy that are on the show include heavyweight, Luke Watkins, Jason Manners, Millie Bailey, Joe Beeden, Callum Costello, and C.J. Singh.
